Une bonne soirée was had last Saturday night with Yves & Maryline at the Confrérie des Tabliers Noirs du Haut Poitou, held at La Petite France.
'The Brotherhood of the Black Aprons Lencloîtrais was born April 24, 1994 in the cellar of the Chemin de Saint Jacques in Soudun, in the commune of Orches.
For twenty years, the Brotherhood has been dedicated to the enhancement of the Haut-Poitou through its cuisine, its wines, its heritage and its history, as evidenced by the topics discussed during the previous 23 Chapters: asparagus, melon, échalion, walnut, chabichou, saffron ... or Charles Martel, Robert Arbrissel, Eléanor of Aquitaine, Henry IV, Rabelais ...
Last Saturday, the 24th Chapter, attended by 110 guests, including twenty Parisians and a New Zealand couple, in the salons of the Petite France, Migné-Auxances, was an opportunity to celebrate the 20th anniversary evoking themes during these twenty years. The meal, refined, was interspersed with interludes and humorous costume doing so unlikely to meet Eleanor of Aquitaine and Charles Martel, the Echalion and Rex Poitou, "Breton" and Henri IV ..(http://www.lanouvellerepublique.fr/Articles/2014/11/18/)
